- When working with an MSU IT staff member, you may be asked for your TeamViewer ID and Password before he/she may assist you. To access this information, select the TeamViewer icon from the menu bar in the upper right corner of your screen, and click Show Status Dialog.
- The following dialog box will appear. Give the MSU IT staff member this information so that he/she may connect to your computer for remote assistance.
Never give your TeamViewer ID and/or Password to anyone that you do not trust.
Never give your TeamViewer ID and/or Password to anyone with whom you did not initiate a support call, chat, email, or ticket.
