Steps

Recording the Meeting

  1. Click the Record button within Zoom live meetings (After you have enabled your cloud recording within your Zoom Settings)
  2. Select Record to the Cloud or Record on this Computer.

Locating the Recording After Using Record to the Cloud

You can find your recording on msu.zoom.us and make changes to its settings, or download a copy to your local machine. You will receive an email when the cloud recording is available to view.

  1. Log into zoom.us and select Recordings from the left side of the screen.
  2. Select the Cloud Recording tab
  3. To rename the meeting, click the Topic - Meeting Title and then click the pencil icon. Renaming the meeting will make it easier to find when it uploads to MediaSpace.
  4. There is a button here to download the file as well, if desired
  5. Do NOT use the Shareable Link from here, as this file will be automatically deleted after 1 day. When it is uploaded to MediaSpace you can get a shareable link from there
  6. The recording will automatically be uploaded to MediaSpace. You will receive an email when it has been uploaded successfully
  7. The recording will automatically be deleted from the Cloud after 1 day
