Before You Begin

You will need an Okta Verify credential associated with your account. See KB 957 (link) for instructions to set that up.

Steps

  1. Login to the ESET Business Account with your current ESET Business Account credentials

  2. In the Set up Two-Factor Authentication pane, click SET UP.

  3. In the Setup ESET Secure Authentication application, click Use a different authentication app

  4. Open the Okta Verify App on your iPhone, click the + to add an Account.

  5. In Choose Account Type, select Organization.

  6. In the next window select Yes, Ready to Scan.

  7. Scan the ESET QR code with your iPhone camera.

  8. You should see Account Added on the Okta Verify app. Click Done.

  9. You should now see an Account called ESET-Business-Account in Okta Verify.

  10. Return to the ESET Set up Two-Factor Authentication window and click Continue.

  11. In the Enter One-Time Password screen. Enter the ESET-Business Account code displayed in Okta Verify and click Authenticate.

  12. In the Setup was successful screen click Finish.

  13. This should take you into the ESET Business Account portal.
  14. Log out of the ESET Business Account portal and attempt to log back in with the new Two-Factor Credential in Okta Verify.
  15. You're done! You have completed the Okta Verify setup for ESET Business Account.

Additional Info

  1. If you encounter an error logging in, delete the Account in your Okta Verify App.

  2. Open a Service Desk ticket to reset your Two-Factor credential in ESET Business Account.
  3. Once your ESET Business Account Two-Factor credential has been reset, repeat the steps in this document from the beginning.
