PACS - How to Create a Centricity PACS Account

Objective

Following these steps will create a new user account in Centricity PACS.

Steps

1. Navigate to http://172.16.6.10/jsp. A window should pop up regarding the sites security certificate. Click Continue to this website.
2. A login box should appear, use your regular Centricity PACS credentials to login.
3. After logging in, you should land at the main Centricity Control Portal. In the upper left hand corner click on the little arrow next to Administration.
4. Click on Users & Functions. This next screen is where you can search for, edit user accounts, and create new user accounts.
5. Click on Create New, and another window should pop up.
6. Fill out the following fields:
   • LastName*
   • First
   • UserName* (same as their AD username)
   • I/f code (staff_id)* (same as their AD username)
   • PACSUserGrp* (either Receptionist, ResidentRadiologist, ServiceDesk, StaffRadiologist, or Technologist)
   • Password* and Confirm* (temporary password, must be 8 characters and contain 3 of the following: a capital letter, lowercase letter, number or special character)
7. Click Save and then do a search for the user you just created to confirm the account was created.
