PACS - How to Reject Images in PACS

Objective

Following these steps will reject one or more images in Centricity PACS.

Steps

1. Open Centricity PACS.
2. Find the patient that has the incorrect images.
3. Open the patient by double clicking on the item in Centricity.
4. Once open, select only the images that do not belong.
5. Select one image by clicking on it.
   If you need to select more than one image click on the first image, and then hold CTRL down and click on the other images you want to reject.
6. Once you have all of the images selected that you want to reject, click on Image Functions at the top of the screen, and go down to Reject Selected Images.
7. A window will come up that will ask for a comment:
   • In this window it will say how many images you are rejecting, you need to make sure this is the same as the number you expect you are rejecting.
     Be careful to reject only the images necessary.
8. Put a comment into the field with a detailed explanation of why you rejected images.
