How do I activate my LinkedIn Learning license?

If you already have a LinkedIn account, you can simply follow the instructions in the email invitation from LinkedIn Learning to 'activate' your license. You may need to check your Junk Mail folder. This process will connect your LinkedIn account to your msu.edu email address, but you can continue to login using your existing LinkedIn.com credentials. This one-time process is required by our departmental license to verify that you are a member of MSU IT.

Will newly hired/onboarded staff members have access to LinkedIn Learning?

Yes, but it may take a few days as we process other onboarding tasks. Contact Brad Fears (bfears@msu.edu) if you need immediate access. He will need your MSU email address to set up the access.

Will LinkedIn Learning replace our other learning management systems like Skillsoft or Desire2Learn?
