Steps
In General
- Visit Google.com or another favorite search engine website.
- Type what is my IPv4 address and hit ENTER.
If on a Microsoft Windows based computer, use the following:
- Click on the windows Icon in the lower left of the desktop screen
- Type CMD and hit enter
- Locate the command prompt window and type in Ipconfig /all
- Your computer may have several network adapters, but we are looking for an IPv4 Address.
If on a MacOS based device
- Hold down option while you click on Wi-Fi status it will give you a details window

- Navigate to System Preferences > Network
- Select the connection you want to view the IP address for
