Error: "Sign up not available" When Attempting to Set Up Direct Deposit in SIS Campus Solutions

The system may take up to two business days to fully process the account and this error will result until those processes are complete. Waiting two business days should resolve the issue.

Problem

When trying to set up direct deposit in SIS Campus Solutions, you receive an error stating:

Sign up not available

In order to sign up, a verification code must be emailed to the email address on record with Michigan State University. You record is missing an email address. Contact Michigan State University to have them enter an email address for you.

Wait two business days and then try again. If the situation is urgent and cannot wait, please contact the IT Service Desk at (517)432-6200 and advise that you cannot wait and need the email address manually entered as soon as possible by the ITS SIS Student Accounts team.

Cause

The back end processes between MSU and the vendor run each evening and any updates may take two cycles to be fully processed.
