How To Request Access to the MSU API Gateway

MSU uses the API Gateway to provide several services for building and managing APIs. This article walks through how to request access to that system.

Following these steps will create your account for the API Gateway and request access to use it.

Steps

  1. Go to anypoint.mulesoft.com/login/domain/msu-api (link).
  2. Select Continue with MSU Okta.

  3. When re-directed to the MSU Okta Login page, enter your MSU email address and password.
  4. Verify your identity using your MFA credential.
  5. After your first login:
    1. you will receive a prompt to allow Michigan State University read-only access to your Profile. Select Grant access to <username>.

    2. You will also be prompted to verify your account with a code sent to your email address. The email will come from anypoint-noreply=mulesoft.com@iam.mgn.mulesoft.com with subject Your Anypoint Platform Verification Code. Enter the provided code where prompted.

  6. Now that your account is created, submit a Default Form from the Access Management Service Offering page (link).

    • Under "Description of Requested Access", enter API Gateway Developer Access.
  7. You're done! Once approved and processed you will have access to AnyPoint Exchange, which contains the catalog of APIs at MSU.
