Objective
Following these steps will determine which Asset / CI manages the website URL and should be used in the Ticket information.

Before You Begin
Remember that when creating a ticket you will be filling out the following fields:
- Service [REQUIRED]
- Asset / CI
- Type [REQUIRED]
This article is about determining what to enter for the Asset / CI field in the ticket.
Steps
- From TDNext go the the Assets/CIs tab
- Select the Filter button from the top-right
- Enter the website URL in the Name Like field
- Set CI Types to Asset
- Select Apply
- Select the website from the list
- Go to the Relationships tab
- Look for the is hosted by entry - this is the Asset / CI you will enter for the ticket
- It may also show up under is managed by
- You're done! You've found the correct Asset / CI so you can properly fill out the ticket.
Additional Info
If you are unable to find the website using this method, it may not be added to TDX as an asset yet or may not be managed by MSU IT. Use Web Content Management if the specific site can't be found.
