Change Enablement - Modifying an Approved Change in TeamDynamix

This article outlines the steps for modifying a change request in TeamDynamix after it has already been approved by either LT CAB, Change Manager, or CAB. It covers scenarios where updates are necessary due to new information, implementation adjustments, or scheduling conflicts.

Objective

The process below will be used for Changes that have already obtained approval for implementation.  It covers scenarios where updates are necessary due to new information, implementation adjustments, or scheduling conflicts.

Before You Begin

If the Change hasn’t been approved yet, you can open the edit the Change and make any necessary updates directly.

Steps

  1. Verify the Change Calendar to avoid impacting other scheduled Changes
  2. Click Edit and modify the Change as needed
  3. Select Actions and then Reassign Workflow
  4. Select the Request for Change workflow
  5. Select Mark Complete on Change Ready for Review
    • Completing the task will automatically route the Change to the Local Technical (LT) CAB (Internal Review Group) for review. All Changes, except for Emergency Break/Fix, must receive approval in the ITSM tool before they can be implemented.
    • The Maintenance Activity will automatically be updated to reflect the new date and time
  6. The Change will be presented to the Local Technical (LT) CAB (Internal Review Group) for review
