D2L - How to Submit a Quiz Attempt Already in Progress - For Instructors

It may become necessary for an instructor is submit a quiz attempt in progress for one or more of their students. This document details how they can do so.

Following these steps will force an in-progress quiz attempt to complete and submit.

Steps

  1. Select the Assessments tab
  2. Select Quizzes
  3. From there select the drop down next to the quiz and select Grade
  4. Select the Attempts tab
  5. Select Show Search Options next to the search field
  6. Under the Restrict field change the dropdown filter to Users with an attempt in progress
  7. Select the magnifying glass above to refresh the page
  8. To submit the quiz for them, select the icon with two stick figures and enter the quiz as the student
  9. Select Yes on the pop-up
  10. Then scroll down to the bottom and select Submit Quiz.
