Following these steps will install ESET Anti-Virus on an MSU-owned macOS device using Jamf.

Before You Begin

These instructions are only for MSU-owned macOS devices. If you need ESET on a personal macOS device, please see KB 884 (KB link) for instructions.

Steps

  1. Open Finder and navigate to Finder\Applications

  2. Open Self Service
  3. In the Self Service window that opens, find ESET Endpoint Security and select Install

  4. Select Install

  5. The computer will lock and ESET will begin installing. During this process, you will see the screen below.

  6. After installation, you may log in to your computer using your MSU NetID / password. You should now see ESET on the menu bar.
  7. You're done! ESET Anti-Virus has now been installed.
