Following these steps will allow meeting attendees to share their screen when they are separated into breakout rooms.

Before You Begin

  • Only one person can share at a time in each breakout room (even if multiple people are allowed to share simultaneously in the main room).
  • If the host/co-host is sharing their screen to breakout rooms from the main room, participants in the breakout room cannot share screen.

Steps

  1. Login to MSU Zoom (msu.zoom.us)
  2. Select Settings from the lefthand menu.
  3. Select In Meeting (Basic).
  4. Scroll down to the Screen sharing section
  5. Under Who can share?, select the radio button next to All Participants

  6. After you start your meeting, select Security from the toolbar.
  7. Under Allow participants to:, select Share Screen.
