Use this form to request a check of your own name for any prior criminal contact with our agency. If records are found, they will be provided, or a Letter of Clearance will be issued.

This service can be used for requesting the following:

- Copy of an adjudicated or closed police report
- Copy of Private Property Traffic Crash Report (Traffic Accidents can be purchased at https://tcps.state.mi.us/TCPS/login/welcome.jsp)
- Letter of Loss (Confirmation for lost, damaged, or stolen property)

This form is for background investigators requesting a records check for applicant contact with our agency. Relevant records will be released only if a signed release form and a business card, or investigator credentials, are included.

If a bike is impounded by Parking Services, it is taken to the impound lot at MSU Department of Police and Public Safety on campus.

There is a $10 release fee for all impounded bikes.
