What Is the Service?

MSU Guest Account (formerly Community ID) grants limited access to web-based MSU services for users who are not affiliated with MSU directly.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Users typically include members of the general public who sign up for non-credit courses, distance learners, and parents, guardians, and others invited by a student to access their information (such as MSU financial systems).
 
Students enrolled in credit classes should log in to MSU resources using their NetID and should not register for a Guest Account.

Bulk Guest Account Registration
System coordinators can submit a completed Excel template file to have guest accounts created in bulk.This form is for faculty and staff members only. Individuals should use the Register a Guest Account option instead.
