MSU Data Storage Finder (DSF)

What Is the Service?

The MSU Data Storage Finder (DSF) is a self-service, interactive tool that allows users to determine which storage services are most suitable for their needs. Different types of data require different modes of storage. Based on features needed and restrictions set in place for certain data, researchers will be able to choose a storage service accordingly.

It is not intended to be a complete or comprehensive catalog of storage services and data consultations are always required when dealing with sensitive or controlled data.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

This service is available to all current students, faculty, and staff at the university. MSU authentication is required to access the information.
