Regulated Research Enclave

The RRE hosted service is a compliant environment, intended to protect projects with data that meet the classification of controlled unclassified information (CUI) at the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 requirement. This research environment was built to meet the need of high regulatory controls, standards, and reporting requirements that come from sponsored contracts subject to the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), which includes CMMC clauses. This service is hosted in Azure GovCloud environment and is complexly separated from MSUT IT infrastructure.
