What Is the Service?

Event Support is the process of renting and providing audiovisual (AV) equipment for events held on MSU campus. MSU IT offers a variety of AV solutions tailored to the needs of different events, including conferences, lectures, and special gatherings. With Event Support, MSU departments and campus organizations can access professional-grade AV equipment and support to ensure the success of their events. Support for this service includes:

  • AV Equipment Rental: Access to projectors, microphones, speakers, and more.
  • Event Setup and Technical Assistance: On-site setup and support to ensure equipment functions properly.
  • Custom Solutions: Tailored AV setups to meet unique event requirements.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Event Support is available to all MSU departments, faculty, staff, and student organizations hosting events on campus.

How Do I Use It?

To request Event Support:

  • Submit a request through the MSU IT portal, specifying the type of event and required equipment.
  • Consult with MSU IT to finalize AV needs and setup details.
  • Equipment will be delivered, set up, and supported as needed on the day of the event.
