Entra (formerly Azure) is an extensive family of identity and network access products designed to secure digital identities, manage user permissions, and enforce Zero Trust security. It enables single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access, protecting against security threats for cloud and on-prem applications.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
This is available to MSU Faculty and Staff.
How Do I Use It?
The Entra Application request initiates a required review process for any application seeking access to the MSU Entra tenant. No application is granted access without prior evaluation. During this review, the requested permissions, level of access, and potential impact to tenant data are assessed. Approval or denial is determined based on the scope of access and associated risk.
