GitLab External Account

If you are looking to collaborate with an individual from outside Michigan State University, you can request an external account be created in GitLab by sponsoring them. You must be an MSU faculty or staff member to sponsor an external account.

This access will be granted via an Affiliated FPID NetID and the account will expire if not renewed.

Once the Affiliated FPID NetID account has been created and activated, the individual will be able to log into GitLab. An additional access request is not needed.
