What Is the Service?
Google Colab, or Google Colaboratory, is a free cloud-based service that allows users to write and execute Python code within a browser-based Jupyter Notebook environment. It's particularly useful for machine learning, data analysis, and educational purposes, offering access to powerful computing resources like GPUs and TPUs without requiring local software installation.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
Google Colab is available by request to current MSU faculty, staff, and students. Users must be at least 13 years of age. Students under the age of 18 are required under the Google Colab agreement to receive parental consent before accessing Google Colab.
