Primary DNS Zone Hosting

Use this service to request that your DNS zone be hosted as a primary authoritative zone in IT Services, MSU's DNS management platform. Once hosted, your zone will be managed and supported by the Network Operations team. Before submitting, please have your zone's existing records or a zone file export available if applicable, as this may be needed to complete the setup.

Request to have your DNS zone hosted as a primary authoritative zone in IT Services. This service is typically used for migrating existing zones from another provider or server, but is can also be used for brand new zones. This is needed to help onboard new DNS zones and help consolidate DNS data into central IT.
