What Is the Service?
Digital Classroom Support provides technical assistance for audiovisual (AV) technology and classroom equipment to ensure smooth operation during teaching and learning activities. Our team responds promptly to in-classroom technology issues, provides training for instructors, and supports student printing areas across campus. Support for this service includes:
- On-Site Support: Fast response for classroom AV technology issues to minimize disruption.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and fixing reported problems with classroom technology.
- Quick Trainings: Short, focused training sessions on tech cart operation and Zoom navigation for faculty.
- Student Printing Support: Physical assistance with university-owned MSU IT Printers, including printer troubleshooting, supply management (toner and paper), removal and installation.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
Classroom Support is available to all MSU faculty, instructors, and teaching staff using university classrooms with IT or AV technology. Student printing support is also available for students and staff utilizing designated student printing areas.
How Do I Use It?
To access Classroom Support:
- Report an issue via the IT Help Button or QR code located on the host computers in the classrooms, by phone, or through the online portal.
- Analysts will be dispatched to the classroom to resolve the issue.
- For recurring concerns, training requests, or printer support, submit a ticket with the request.
