Objective

Following these steps will set your local Horizon View Client to display your VDI on a single monitor.

The Horizon View desktop client is set to use All Monitors by default. This can create undesired blank/black spaces on your screen when initially logging in.

To use one monitor for your virtual desktop, Right-click your desktop pool icon in the Horizon View Client before logging in and select Settings.
