What is an FTU disapproval?

A disapproval stops the routing slip in its tracks and no one further along the route sees the form. A disapproval requires the user to enter a comment. See "Email Notifications" FAQ section for more information about disapproval emails.

What happens in FTU and in the form application when a routing slip is disapproved?

When a slip is disapproved in FTU, its status is set to "Disapproved" and no further approvals are requested or allowed. If there are Disapproval or Final Disposition actions, FTU will process them. The form application is usually updated to reflect the Disapproved status.

Will the pending action actors receive notifications of a disapproval?

The form initiator and/or approvers and reviewers may receive notification of disapproval if the form's route has been designed to send email notifications.

Will subsequent actions (steps occurring after the disapproved action) appear in action lists (Pending Actions, Rear View, etc.)?

A disapproved form's subsequent actions will not appear in Pending lists because a disapproved form's route stops at the point of disapproval. Routing actions which occur prior to the disapproved action will remain in the appropriate Initiated, Performed and Rear View action lists.

What should I do if a form I initiated has been disapproved? Do I need to re-enter the entire form from scratch?

It depends on the form application. The route stops, but often the form application has a convenient way for you to correct the problem and resubmit the corrected form without re-entering all information.
