Spartan 365 - Correcting the Time Zone in Office 365/One Drive

Objective

Following these steps will change the Time Zone associated with your Office 365 account.

Environment

Spartan 365 (Office 365)

Steps

  1. Login to portal.office.com and click on the One Drive icon.
  2. From Spartan Drive (OneDrive), select the gear icon in the upper right corner, then choose OneDrive settings.

  3. Select More Settings from the left side of the page
  4. Select Regional Settings.
  5. Use the drop-down menu to change the time zone to Eastern Time. Then click OK located at the bottom right of the page.

  6. You're done! Your time zone settings are now set to Eastern Time.

Additional Info

Users may experience that their time zone settings are incorrect. This could be an issue if you need to know the time am item was revised during collaboration and while using versioning. This process will correct that issue.
