Steps
For Windows and macOS web browser specific steps how to clear cookies and cache select a link below to jump to instructions for that browser:
Firefox
- Click on the Application Menu button at the top-right corner of the browser
- It looks like 3 horizontal lines
- Click Settings
- Click Privacy & Security from the menu on the left
- Scroll down to the 'Cookies and Site Data' section and click Clear Data
- In the new window that opens, set the drop-down box for Time range to clear: to Everything
- Check the following items:
- Cookies and site data
- Temporary cached files and pages
- Active Logins
- Click Clear
- Close all browser sessions and restart your browser
OS X users: Ensure the browser is fully closed before restarting. This can be done by selecting "Quit Firefox" from the "Chrome" drop-down menu along the top menu bar, by right-clicking the icon in the dock and selecting "Quit", or by using keyboard shortcut "command+Q".

Google Chrome
- Click on the menu (the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser).
- Select 'Delete browsing data...'
- On the new tab that opens, click the 'All time' selection at the top
- Check the boxes for:
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Click the Clear data button
- Close all browser sessions and restart your browser.

Internet Explorer
- Select the gear-shaped icon in the top right corner of the browser
- Hover over Safety
- Click Delete browsing history...
- In the new window, ensure that "Temporary Internet files", "Cookies", and "History" are checked. Ensure "Preserve Favorites website data" is not checked. Select any other options as desired.
- Click the Delete button at the bottom.
- This step may take a moment. When complete, a bar will pop up at the bottom of the screen saying "Internet Explorer has finished deleting the selected browsing history."
- Close all browser sessions and restart your browser

Microsoft Edge

Safari
- Click on Safari from the menu bar along the top of the screen.
- Select Settings
- Select the Privacy tab along the top of the new window
- Click the Manage Website Data... button
- Click the Remove All button
- Click the Remove Now button when prompted
- Click Done
- Close the preferences window that will still be open
- Click on History from the menu bar along the top of the screen
- Select Clear History...
- Select the time range to clear from the drop-down box. For best results, we recommend selecting all history
- Click the Clear History button
- Close all browser sessions and restart your browser
