Objective
Following these steps will update a bookmark in your browser to a new URL (website address). This can help resolve some browser issues caused by outdated bookmarks pointing to a now incorrect URL.

Before You Begin
Browsers may use the term bookmark or favorite, but they mean the same thing. They are a way to save the web address of a site so you can navigate to it quickly without having to re-type the full address each time.
Steps
For Windows and macOS web browser specific steps how to clear cookies and cache select a link below to jump to instructions for that browser:
Google Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome
- From the top-right corner, select the 3 vertical dots, then Bookmarks > Bookmark Manager
- Find the bookmark you wish to update
- Right-click the bookmark, or select the 3 vertical dots to the right of it, and select Edit
- Change the URL field to be the new address for the bookmark
- Select Save
- You're done! The bookmark is now updated to the new URL you entered.

Microsoft Edge
- On your computer, open Edge
- From the top-right corner, select the 3 horizontal dots, then Favorites
- Find the favorite you wish to update
- Right-click the favorite and select Edit

- You're done! The favorite is now updated to the new URL you entered.

- On your computer, open Firefox

- Select the Sidebar button in the toolbar and select Bookmarks
- Find the bookmark you wish to update
- Control-click a the bookmark to open the shortcut menu
- Change the URL to be the new address for the bookmark
- Select Save
- You're done! The bookmark is now updated to the new URL you entered.
