The attached document (Student Information System (SIS) Role Chart.xlsx) contains additional details for SIS roles that can be requested through the Access Request system. This document gives a brief description of the roles and the required information needed to submit an Access Request. In it you'll notice that the various accesses are separated into sections. Each section corresponds to the type of Access Request you need to submit:
- SIS Student Information Systems Admissions
- SIS Student Information Systems Financial Aid
- SIS Student Information Systems Grad
- SIS Student Information Systems Student Financials
- SIS Student Information Systems Student Records
Follow this link to the Access Management Service page where you can submit these requests. Select the plus sign next to Student Information System (SIS) Access Requests to bring up the list of possible requests. The select the Request button to open the form you'll use to submit the request.
Information regarding Academic Programs, Plans, Milestones and other SIS related codes can be found in various reports within SIS. Information for these reports can be found at https://sis.msu.edu/training/data.html.
