How do I get my MSU Spartan Card?

Answer

There are two ways to get a photo to the MSU ID Office so they can create your MSU Spartan Card:

Upload the Photo of Your Choice

1. Check your MSU email account for an MSU ID Office email with the subject Please Upload ID Photo inviting you to upload a photo.
   • Simply reply to that email with an atached JPEG photo by August 14.
   • If you did not receive the email, email idoffice@msu.edu from your MSU email account to request it.
2. Once your photo is approved, you can pick up your MSU Spartan Card in the ID Office, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.

3. During Fall Welcome, from August 21-24, pre-printed Spartan Cards with uploaded photos can be picked up at the STEM Building, room 1201. Watch idoffice.msu.edu (link) for details.
4. A government-issued ID card is required at pickup (driver’s license, state ID or passport).

   Expect long wait times at the ID Office if you choose to visit during Fall Welcome.
2. Your Student ID number, and a government-issued ID card are required at pickup (driver’s license, state ID or passport).
