Qualtrics - Outgoing Email Limit Error

Wwhen distributing surveys via email in Qualtrics, users may receive an error: You've reached the maximum number of weekly emails allowed for your brand. Check back later to try again.

Resolution

By default, MSU faculty, staff, and students are allotted a weekly limit of 5,000 outgoing emails via Qualtrics distributions. This limit may be modified for individual users upon request and with approval from a Qualtrics administrator.

Cause

Each individual user has a set limit on how many emails are allowed per month. This error results when a user exceeds that limit.
