How to Check Your Spartan Drive Quota

Objective

Following these steps will show you how much space you have free in your Spartan Drive.

Environment

Before You Begin

If you are not already signed in, you may be prompted to verify your identity with your multi-factor authentication (MFA) credential. Have it ready in case it is needed.

Steps

  1. Go to portal.office.com
  2. If single-sign on doesn't automatically log you in, log in with your MSU email address and NetID (then verify with your MFA credential)
  3. Select the waffle menu at the top-left of the screen, then select the OneDrive icon

  4. Select the gear icon from the upper-right corner

  5. Select OneDrive Settings
  6. Select More Settings
  7. Select Storage Metrics
  8. You're done! You will now see how much space your are currently using on your Spartan Drive account.

Spartan Drive is MSU's version of Microsoft One Drive. All faculty, staff, and students that are on the CampusAD Domain will have access to 5 TB of storage (with a maximum file size of 250GB) on Spartan Drive which is accessible over the web, desktop, tablet or other mobile device.
