How to Add Printing Credits to an Account (MSU Print)

Objective

Following these steps will add money to your MSU printing account, which will allow you to print using the many printers located around campus.

Before You Begin

If You Have an MSU NetID

There are 3 options available to add funding (credits) to an MSU Print account tied to an MSU NetID (subject to eligibility):

• Credit Card
• Student Receivables/E-bill to student account
• Spartan Cash

Log in to https://print.msu.edu/ and select from the sidebar menu to make your selection for adding credits. Specific information on each option is listed in the sections below.

If You Don't Have an MSU NetID

The Main Library has the MakeCentral Service Desk and offers printing services even without a NetID. See their site (link) for details.

Steps

Credit Card

To add credit using a credit card (Transact Payments):

1. Select the Add Credit Using Credit Card menu item
2. Select a value from the Amount to add drop down box
3. Select the Add Value button. You will be redirected to Transact Payments for credit card processing
4. Enter your billing information and select the Continue Checkout button
5. Enter your credit card information and select the Continue Checkout button
6. Review the transaction details and select the Submit Payment button. You will be redirected back to MSU Print.

After processing, funds will be added to your print account

Student Receivables/E-bill

To add credit using your Student Receivables/E-bill account:

1. Select the Add Credit Using Student Receivables/E-Bill menu item
2. Select a value from the Amount to add drop down box
3. After processing, funds will be added to your print account

Spartan Cash (Registered Students Only)

To use Spartan Cash to add credit:

1. Select the Add Credit using Spartan Cash menu item
2. Select a value from the Amount to add drop down box

Funds will be removed from your Spartan Cash account and added to your print account
