What Is the Service?

MSU IT has options for both traditional analog fax line service that can connected to your physical fax or multi-function printer and the MSU Fax Service which is a server-based offering eliminating the need for a physical device.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Each user or department must have or add a dedicated campus telephone number assigned for fax use. This service will incur monthly recurring charges billed to their account number.

How Do I Use It?

Analog Fax Line
An analog telephone line can be provisioned on the Avaya PBX system. The line will be installed on a dedicated jack to connect to the users’ physical fax machine or multi-function printer/copier.
MSU Fax Services
The MSU Fax service is a server-based fax system that centralizes fax transmission and reception through a dedicated server, eliminating the need for traditional fax machines. It streamlines fax communications by integrating with your Spartan365 email and offering multiple ways to send/receive docs.
