Telecommunication - Audio Conferencing Options at MSU

Navigation

MSU IT offers several options to use for audio conferencing. Select a link below to jump to that section:

Avaya six-party conferencing

Avaya PBX telephones can connect up to six different parties to an audio conference by manually dialing each contact and individually joining them to the conference. See instructions for conferencing on each specific phone model (link). The call originator will incur associated long-distance charges.

AT&T toll-free dial-in conferencing—up to 200 participants

AT&T Teleconference Services has negotiated a contract with Telecom to provide audio-conference services at competitive rates. AT&T’s standard service allows for up to 200 participants in an AT&T toll-free audio conference. AT&T toll-free dial-in conferencing is available from any phone, anywhere. The AT&T Audio Conference Reservationless service provides a toll-free number with an access code for users and a host password for security. Once assigned, the Reservationless service can be used at your convenience without prior scheduling with AT&T.

Departments receive invoices directly from AT&T audio-conferencing charges.

Conference phones allow all participants to be clearly heard, making meetings shorter and more productive. High-quality audio technology ensures seamless conversations.
