I'm an Invitee Looking for the Password

If you are prompted to enter a password and do not have it:

  • Check your calendar invite to see if the password is in the calendar item message
  • Check your deleted items folder for the invite
  • Check your Junk mail
  • Else, reach out to the meeting host (who set up the meeting) and ask them to re-send the invite or provide the password directly

I'm the Meeting Host Looking for the Password

If you need to find the password for one of your upcoming meetings:

  • Log in to msu.zoom.us (link)
  • Click on Meetings on the left side of the page
  • Click on the name of the meeting where you need the password
  • Next to Meeting Password, it will say if a password is required, and then list the password. You can either:
    • Copy the password and send it to the invitee; or
    • Use the Copy the invitation link to the right and send the whole invitation, including the meeting password, etc
