Why doesn't the MS Word document I pasted in for content display correctly?

Microsoft Word native files incorporate a great deal of Microsoft-specific html tags and formatting. Display issues often result when attempting to copy and paste a Word document into a content management system.

The best practice is to use plain text when pasting. If you have content you want to use that is in a Word document, save it first as a text (.txt) document and then paste the plain text into Cascade.
