Eduroam - Connecting to Eduroam Wireless for Mac

Objective

Following these steps will connect your macOS device to the Eduroam wireless network.

Before You Begin

Michigan State University has adopted eduroam, which is used by many educational institutions as a secure way to offer WiFi to campus visitors. Eduroam is available at many universities across the state and country, as well as some other locations. No registration is required. Connect using your login credentials anywhere the Eduroam SSID is broadcast.

Steps

1. Launch the wireless internet settings, by selecting the Internet access icon
2. Select Eduroam and it will give you the option to connect.

3. After selecting Connect, it will prompt you for your username and password.

4. Enter your MSU email address and password
5. Select Continue to authenticate.
