Steps

  1. Log into Centricity PACS RA1000
  2. Before un-rejecting any images, make sure the study you are sending images back into is not marked as Verified or Completed. Have the technician perform the necessary actions.
  3. Click on the drop down arrow by All Exams and select Reject Analysis.
  4. Input the patient ID for the images you are trying to retrieve, you can also filter it down by study date and patient name.
  5. Once you highlight the study you are trying to retrieve images for, click on Display Folder located underneath the study list.
  6. The rejected images will load in a study form, unfortunately if you need to retrieve all of them it won't let you stack them & do them all in one shot.
Instead hang 12 at a time by clicking the viewport arrow and setting it to 12.
  7. Highlight the images you want to retrieve (highlighted images have a white box around them) and right-click in the gray area next to the study date.
  8. A menu will drop down and select Un-reject Selected Images.
  9. A popup will prompt you asking if you are sure you want to un-reject the selected images, click Yes.
  10. Have the technician verify the images are back in the exam folder.
  11. If they are not found, close the exam and re-launch the folder.
  12. Or you can update the archive with the un-rejected image status by making sure the exam in which the un-rejected images are located reach Verified Status.
  13. Since you can only hang 12 images at a time, you might have to do this process several times for MR or US studies where there are many images.

Additional Info

Additional Tips to View Multiple Images

  • Do a Ctrl + Click to quickly select multiple non-consecutive images, or do a Ctrl + A to select all 12 images at once.
  • Note: After images are un-rejected, the archive must be completed for the image status to be changed to un-rejected in the Enterprise Archive. From the time of any image rejection status change, there is a lag time for the archive to be updated with the image rejection status change. The lag time for the archive to be updated is dependent on factors including but not limited to the archive used, archive online status, your site's system configuration, and network traffic.
  • Note: The system allows you to export, save, and print un-rejected images.
