Temporary Meal Passes - Policy, Fees, and How To Obtain One

A Temporary Meal Pass may be issued to:

  • Newly admitted students who have never had an ID photo taken. (no charge)
  • Students who have lost or temporarily misplaced their ID. ($5 charge)
  • Students who have had their ID stolen. (no charge if a Police Report is filed and presented)
  • If the ID will not work due to a problem with the card.

Policy

A pass is valid for meal and hall access for up to 7 days. During this 7 day period it is the responsibility of the student to either find their ID or obtain a new/replacement ID from the ID Office located in the International Center. At the end of the 7 day period the pass is to be returned to the Culinary Business Office of issue.

Passes not returned, or returned after the expiration date, will result in a $20 charge to the student's university account.

Issuing Procedure

Temporary meal passes may be obtained in the Culinary Business Office at any hall.

Other Notes

If the University ID is not recovered, it is the responsibility of the student to obtain the replacement ID before the temporary pass expires. There is a $20 charge for a replacement ID.

Temp ID cards are not valid for guest meals or for ComboX change meals.
