ESET - How to Enable Presentation Mode in ESET

Objective

When you need presentations to run without interruption from ESET Endpoint Security, there are 2 primary methods to activate Presentation Mode. ESET attempts to detect when you are using an application in full screen mode and activate Presentation Mode automatically. If Presentation Mode is not automatically activating, following these steps should activate it manually.

Steps

  1. Open ESET Endpoint Security. Options:
    1. Type ESET into the search box on the Taskbar, or use the Start menu to open ESET -> ESET Endpoint Security; OR
    2. In the bottom right corner of the Windows screen, in the area just to the left of the time and date, you should either see the ESET icon or the up arrow. If you don’t see the ESET icon, click on the Up Arrow. Click on the E icon for ESET Endpoint Security, and you should get an ESET Endpoint Security screen.

  5. It is strongly recommended that you then click on the Advanced Settings button in the bottom right, click on Tools and Presentation Mode on the left, and you will be shown the options below. Click on Disable Presentation mode automatically after and set the Disable After (minutes) to the length of your class or presentation, like 240 minutes is 4 hours. You can, instead, manually turn Presentation Mode off when you are done, but you are only partially protected when it is active, so setting automatic reduces your risk.

  6. You're done!
