How to Clear the Cache in Microsoft Teams on Windows (Spartan 365)

Objective

Following these steps will clear the cache Microsoft Teams uses which may resolve erratic behavior in the application.

Before You Begin

Steps

  1. Quit MS Teams by right-clicking the icon in the systray and selecting Quit
  2. Cut and paste the following location into a File Explorer window:
    • %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
  3. Delete the contents of that entire folder
  4. Restart MS Teams
