Kuali Research (KR) - Unit Role Descriptions for College and Department Administrators

This role is intended for college preaward and postaward research administrators who need to be able to create proposals and budgets, and view Institutional Proposals, Awards, Subawards, and associated attachments for proposals and awards in their college.

They will able to update report tracking details and submit budget revisions for awards in their college.

The difference between the Department and College Administrator roles is that department administrators can do these things for only their unit, while college administrators can do these things for any unit in their college.

Permissions under this role include:

• creating and deleting proposals;
• creating and editing budgets;
• viewing several types of records and document:
  • Proposals,
  • Institutional Proposals,
  • Awards,
  • Subawards,
  • Attachments, and
  • other module sections.
