How to Request Access to the Promapp Process Mapping Tool at MSU

Objective

Following these steps will complete the prerequisites for getting access to the Promapp process mapping tool used at MSU.

Environment

Before You Begin

Access to Promapp is not handled by the usual Access Form process. Instead you are automatically set up with access when you take the preliminary training courses to learn how to use Promapp.

You will need to be able to log in to EBS (Enterprise Business Systems) to complete this process. You will need your MSU email address and NetID password. You will also need a multi-factor authentication (MFA) credential. The following articles may be of assistance if you need help with either item:

Steps

1. Log in to EBS (link)
2. Scroll to the My Career & Training section
3. Select Courses for Employees at MSU

4. In the Search for Courses section, search for promapp
   Screenshot

   

5. In the Results List, open and register for both:
   • Introduction to Process Mapping (this must be completed first, before you attend the other course), and
   • Promapp, Interactive Process Creation
     Screenshot

     

6. You're done! Access to Promapp will be added to your account prior to the first class. No further action is needed on your part.
