Genesys Cloud - How To Access Genesys Cloud

Objective

Following these steps will connect and log in to the Genesys Cloud application.

Environment

Genesys Cloud
OS: Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OSX
Browser: Internet Explorer and older versions of Microsoft Edge are not supported. Firefox or Google Chrome are suggested.

Before You Begin

Genesys Cloud is a web-based application that can be accessed by using a web browser such as Google Chrome (link) or Firefox (link).

Steps

  1. Open your browser and go to https://go.msu.edu/genesys (link).

  2. You will see a login page asking for a login and password. Select Login with another account - Okta on the bottom of the screen to login.

  3. If you have not yet logged into any MSU services, you will be prompted to login with your MSU NetID and Password. If you have logged into other services on campus recently, you should be presented the Genesys Activities Dashboard.
  4. You're done! You've connected and logged in to the Genesys Cloud application.

Additional Info

If you get an Okta error that says 404 Application Not Assigned, you do not have an account in Genesys.  Please contact your supervisor to open a ticket with the IT Service Desk to have the account created.
