Elastic Storage - How To Connect to Elastic Storage on a Windows Machine

Objective

Following these steps will connect your machine to an Elastic Storage network drive.

Environment

Before You Begin

Elastic Storage is a storage tool that must be purchased prior to its use. Please see the Elastic Storage service page (link) for guidance.

Steps

  1. Select Start.
  2. In the search box, type: This PC, and then select This PC from the results.
  3. Select Computer and then select Map network drive.

  4. In the windows that opens, choose an available letter from the Drive list.
  5. In the Folder box, type the path to the shared network folder. You can also select Browse to find the folder you want to map on the network.
  6. Select Finish.

  7. You're done! You've connected to Elastic Storage.
