Elastic Storage - How to Map a Network Share on Windows 11

Objective

Following these steps will connect your Windows 11 machine to MSU network shares.

Environment

Elastic Storage
Windows 11

Before You Begin

You must be connected to a MSU network or VPN for this process to work.

Steps

  1. Open File ExplorerUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Open the Map Network Drive WizardUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Choose Drive Letter, and enter \\es.msu.edu\itservices for Folder
  4. Fill both checkboxes and select Finish
  5. Enter your credentials (User name is campuas\<your netid>Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. You're done! You can now access your driveUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Additional Info

To disconnect a mapped drive, right-click the drive and select Disconnect
