Description
The Codex Extension brings OpenAI’s AI coding assistant to MSU’s ChatGPT Edu environment. It helps users write, review, and debug code using natural-language prompts. Codex can generate scripts, explain functions, and automate repetitive coding tasks — all within a compliant and MSU-managed environment.
Important
MSU currently supports local Codex integration only, which means code generation happens directly on your device through supported IDEs or the Codex CLI. Cloud execution, GitHub automation, and other remote Codex features are currently disabled in the MSU ChatGPT Edu workspace.
