Overview: What is Zoom AI Companion?
Zoom AI Companion is a set of Artificial Intelligence tools built into the Zoom Workplace environment that assist with meetings, chats, documents, and recordings. These features help users to summarize discussions, generate content, and highlight key meeting points.
Key capabilities include analyzing meeting transcripts and related Zoom content to generate outputs such as meeting summaries, “Ask AI” questions during live meetings, AI-assisted chat drafting and document generation, smart recordings with automatically generated highlights and outlines, and whiteboards/other content creation tools. AI Companion-generated content should always be reviewed for accuracy before sharing.

Data Privacy and Content Management
Zoom AI Companion uses meeting transcripts, chat content, and other Zoom data sources to generate content and responses. Always review summaries and generated content before sharing; AI Companion may make mistakes or omit context.
